My passions are wilderness and wildflowers, and I attempt to share my emotional and spiritual responses to the natural beauty of the Earth through painting. I taught high school science for eighteen years, but have studied art all my life.
I have traveled and painted in over twenty countries. My work is in private collections in the USA, Canada, China, Ecuador, Lebanon and New Zealand. I have exhibited in San Diego, CA, USA; Albuquerque, NM, USA; Manila, Philippines; Billings, MT, USA; Seoul, Korea; and Quito, Ecuador. I won the Winsor& Newton Award for Excellence at the MasterWorks NM 2009 exhibit and was a finalist in The Artist’s Magazine Competition in 2001.
